Persian Cat Personality
The Persian cat is a very affectionate and gentle breed. They are playful when they want to be and it's quite fun to watch. These cats are a bit more on the calmer side than some other more hyper breeds. However, they do not like to be left home by themselves for too long, they could possibly become destructive, act or or become depressed.
Persians can be looked at as a Prima Donna at times... they are pretty glamerous felines. They love to spend time with their humans and be catered too. The Persian cat breed can be goofy at times but for the most part is a bit more reserved. Don't get me wrong, they love their playtime but they aren't high strung animals.
With all of that being said, they make great pets and I would highly suggest keeping them as an inside cat. I do however have some friends that have one and they let theirs outside from time to time. They choose to shave them down so their coats don't get matted. If you decided to bring a Persian into your home, you won't regret it. They are fantastic cats!
